Dale TerBush, “Abundance of Light”

Exclusive Collections Galleries proudly purveys works of art that are created by some of today’s most renowned international masters. Artist Dale TerBush is one of these amazing masters. Having been known for many decades as the “Artist of Light”, TerBush has created an entirely new body of work that re-contextualizes his style.  In his new collection, TerBush uses the idyllic light that builds Romantic landscapes to carry the viewer into an world that few have the opportunity to see with their own eyes: the depths of the sea.

Dale TerBush has been well-known for works of art that focused on landscapes infused with light, and his work has been compared to that of the great Hudson River School, the group of 19th Century painters who glorified nature in Eden-like scenes of lakes, rivers, mountains, and other pastoral settings. The moment he started to paint them, they glowed, and the response has been overwhelming.

Dale TerBush’s January show tour kicked off in the exciting city center of San Diego’s Historic Gaslamp District. On Saturday, January 19, Exclusive Collections Gallery hosted a champagne reception at the gallery to introduce the public to the artist’s new genre. TerBush amazed onlookers as he demonstrated his painting technique live at the Artist’s Stage. TerBush continued on to Exclusive Collections Galleries in Laguna Beach, CA. In his new jellyfish paintings, Dale TerBush has brought the world under the ocean into the realm between imagination and reality. Each elegant composition is selected to conform to the elongated, fluid structure of the jellyfish, emphasizing this amazing creature’s unusual yet striking beauty. As if illuminated from within, the artist perfectly renders its semi-transparent physical structure using elements of light and shadow. Perfectly complemented with the soothing, cool tones of the water itself, TerBush has created beautiful original masterpieces that emanate the peace of the waters below.
