Master Artist Hisashi Otsuka’s reputation in the art world precedes him for, having led the art scene for many decades, continues to create art with unwavering discipline and revolutionary creativity. His eye for minute details creates works of art with texture and pattern unmatched by any other.

The month of July found Otsuka in a whirlwind tour amongst the four locations of Exclusive Collections Fine Art Galleries. Beginning in Las Vegas for the 18th Annual Anniversary Show, Otsuka debuted his new tattoo series to great acclaim. Although in keeping with his artistic discipline, these beautiful graphite renderings examined a new facet of Otsuka’s talent.

Continuing the tour to San Diego’s Historic Gaslamp Quarter and Seaport Village, Otsuka shared his art with many old friends and even more new admirers. The unveiling of his new series is an important evolution of his career, demonstrating his incredible variety and adaptability to a new generation of art collectors.

Otsuka in Laguna

Culminating the tour in Laguna Beach, CA, the artist found that the modern American tattoo scene took great interest in his new style. Some of the top local tattoo artists in Orange County met with Otsuka and acquired some of his pieces. Throughout all four galleries, Otsuka personally presented original works of art to his audience, allowing each collector to examine them up close.
